Hi Friend,

Welcome to our Prime Life 55+ Ministry.  We believe God has called us to reach out and build a strong, beautiful community of the family of God for the 55+ age group here at New Life Church.  Let me introduce myself and as you look through this landing page, you can see more of who we are and what we are called to do.  I grew up here in the Asheville area and after meeting my wife at Southwestern Baptist Seminary in Ft. Worth Texas, having our first child and pastoring several churches from the coast of North Carolina to the coast of California, we were called to start New Life Church here in Asheville in 1997.

After serving for sixteen years as the pastor of New Life, I joined the staff of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina as a Missions Catalyst.  I transitioned out of that ministry after twelve years and was asked to come back to New Life as the Pastor of Care and Senior Adults.

We have now launched the Prime Life 55+ Ministry and have already seen God do some amazing things. The fastest growing population segment in North Carolina is the senior adult segment. We are seeking to be positioned to build a strong community among our 55+ group at New LIfe, but also reach across the street and around the world in local outreach and missions.

I would like to invite you to join us in our Thursday morning gathering for a light breakfast, Bible study, discussion and prayer.  We will also be developing a homebound and hospital visitation team, will be doing local ministry projects and also some international mission trips.  We will plan some social events and fun trips along with the ministry opportunities to serve each other in the family of God.
