What To Expect...
We understand that visiting a church for the first time can be daunting and a little overwhelming. Rest assured that at New Life, from the very outset you'll find a smiling face and a warm welcome as you step through our doors! From the moment you enter the building, we believe you'll immediately feel relaxed and enabled to worship Jesus Christ. We hope this information will give you an idea what to expect when you visit:
When Do You Meet?
We have two identical services: 9:15 or 11:00 am Sunday morning. You’re welcome to attend either of these. The services last about an hour and fifteen minutes.
What Are The Services Like?
Our services are welcoming and engaging. The music is vibrant and contemporary. The teaching is dynamic and relevant. Our goal is to create a casual, yet compelling environment for today’s generation to worship God and understand how to respond to Him today.
Where Do I Park?
There’s plenty of parking right outside the church building. We recommend arriving about 15 minutes before a service. We are located at 1417 Riverside Drive, Asheville, NC 28804
What Should I Wear?
Please feel free to dress according to your own comfort level. On any given Sunday, you'll find some people in jeans and t-shirts, and some a little more formal. Our lead pastor typically preaches in jeans and a casual shirt.
What About My Children?
If you have pre-school children, we have a clean and professional nursery environment with dedicated staff ready to care for your little one(s). Of course, you’re always welcome to keep your baby/toddler with you in the service, and we also have a special private room for nursing moms.
If you have elementary aged children, you can feel safe entrusting them to the care of our excellent and enthusiastic children’s ministry team for a fun time of children’s worship ("kids' church") during both services. This takes place in the children’s wing of the 2nd floor of our building. If you'd prefer, you also have the option of keeping your children with you during the service.
If you have students on their journey through middle school and high school, we invite them to remain with you during the service, and then to join our thriving student ministry program, which meets Sunday afternoons from 4:30 pm in the student suite on the 2nd floor of our building.
