Most of us want God to move before we step out in faith. But more often than not, God asks us to take a step of faith before He moves. Think about Noah, Abraham, Ruth, the paralytic and his four friends, and countless other biblical stories. We step out, God moves. That’s the normative biblical pattern. As we dream big for the next 10 years of the life of our church, we’re going to have to have big faith, while praying and expecting God to move. The story of the widow and the jars perfectly encapsulates what we believe God is asking us to do in this next season. Let’s prepare the jars and pray for God to fill them up!
