In today’s fast-paced, digitally connected world, many suffer from “hurry sickness,” a relentless drive for productivity that leads to stress and burnout. The ancient practice of Sabbath—rooted in the biblical rhythm of work and rest established by God in creation and later commanded in Scripture—offers a necessary counterbalance. Far more than just a day off, Sabbath is an intentional practice of physical rest, spiritual renewal, and communal worship that helps us unplug, reconnect with God, and realign our lives with His design. Embracing Sabbath today requires discipline and adjustment, but it is both a divine gift and a practical remedy for modern exhaustion, offering restoration for the body, mind, and soul!
