It’s amazing that out of all the ways the Apostle Paul could have encouraged the church in Rome, he centers his message around the power and beauty of the gospel. In this special Sunday gathering, we’re reminded that the gospel isn’t just words—it is the very power of God for salvation to all who believe. Through testimonies from the Middle East, we see how the gospel breaks through fear, condemnation, and suffering with the hope of adoption, transformation, and freedom. As Rafik shares how God is moving among Muslim-background believers—planting house churches, raising up missionaries, and redeeming stories of deep persecution—we are stirred to remember that the same Spirit who leads us calls us to share this good news. May we, like Paul, be unashamed and ambitious to make Christ known where He is not yet named, and may we partner together as one family to see the gospel reach the ends of the earth.
