Through the story of the rich young ruler and the teachings of Jesus and Paul, we’re reminded that salvation is not about religious activity, good behavior, or checking boxes—it’s about genuine belief in Jesus, a belief that moves from head to heart and transforms our lives. Jesus calls us not to add Him to our lives, but to reorient our lives around Him entirely. As we wrestle with doubt, assurance, and surrender, we are invited to examine our hearts, repent, and trust fully in the finished work of Christ. May we be a people who not only know about Jesus, but truly believe in Him and walk in the freedom and confidence that comes with salvation.
