Jesus suffered. He died a criminal's death. He was buried as all common people are, but He suffered to save you. He died to bring you life. He conquered death so we wouldn't have to fear it. The cross of Christ stands as the most scorned symbol in history for those apart from Christ, and one of the most hopeful for those who put their faith and trust in Him.
