It’s been called the greatest sermon ever preached by the greatest preacher to ever live. The Sermon on the Mount is Jesus’ most in-depth and well-known sermon. In it, Jesus describes His upside-down kingdom in glorious detail. He opens this famous sermon with a section commonly called the beatitudes. Eight marks of those who live in this upside-down kingdom of Jesus. Eight tenets of a new way of life for the citizens of a new kingdom. A way of life that’s so radical, that no one can achieve it on their own. Only the Spirit of God within us can empower us to live this new way for our good and His glory!
