A Sabbath Rhythm of Rest
As we come out of our Lament series we were reminded, maybe even for the first time, that it’s good and proper to lament before our God. However, lamenting isn’t the only good and proper rhythm we should establish as a people of God. We also need a sabbath rhythm of rest in our life. In fact, it’s not negotiable. We serve a creative God who established a holy day of rest. God rested. He established rest for Himself and for His creation. God didn’t rest because He was tired or exhausted, but rather because He had completed His creative work. Come and discover why God would establish a sabbath rhythm of rest for HIs creation from the very beginning, and why this type of rest is still critical for His people today!
