New Life is hosting two identical Empowered to Connect Conferences on April 5-6 and 26-27. These conferences are designed to help improve the skills of parents, educators, professionals, counselors and teachers to better engage children in their care.

Part of the curriculum will involve TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) which teaches helpful practices in relating to children with difficulties that may stem from single-parent home life, guardian-guided homes, blended families, foster care, adoption, abuse as well as challenges that accompany low-socio-economic conditions or where there is a deficit in communication.

Fees for individuals are $35 and $50 for couples. Registration is through https://etc2019asheville.eventbrite.com/. To get a preview of the content, watch the 90 second video below.

We are offering registration fee assistance to the following local schools: West Buncombe Elementary, Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, Weaverville Elementary, Woodfin Elementary and New City Christian Schools. If you know faculty or staff at these schools, please be sure they know we are delighted to assist!
