new life coronavirus resource hub

Hey church family, as concerns continue to swirl surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that we are fully committed to doing everything we can to stay connected with you and your family during this time, as well as helping in any way we can. We need each other now more than ever, and this landing page will serve as sort of our information hub during this time.

As you are likely aware, the hours for our Sunday morning on-campus worship services and online worship services are at 9 and 11am Sunday. We have enacted all possible precautions for your safety, which include:

  • Virus killing ionizers in the HVAC system and hospital grade sanitizing with atomizers in-between services
  • Safeguarding each other's health by wearing masks indoors and maintaining social distance in seating
  • Providing several touchless hand sanitizers
  • And hard as it is, discouraging personal touch while on campus

Please remember, that God has not given us a spirit of fear! While we want to be wise and do our part to stem this virus for the welfare of our city and the entire nation, we also want to leverage this opportunity to grow as disciples of Jesus and serve our neighbors and community. Below you’ll find some resources for your family, and ways you can help be the hands and feet of Jesus during this time.

Small Groups

Community Groups/Spiritual Habits

We are so encouraged by the way you’re loving and serving your community in this season. We are praying that God would strengthen and encourage you to keep finding ways to share Christ to your homes and neighbors in the coming days, weeks, and months.  While we know during this season our community groups may not get to meet as much in physical spaces, we can still stay engaged in virtual spaces.  As you stay engaged relationally with one another we want you to be well-equipped as you do.  As a church we want to provide resources to help you do this well, so we’re sharing a Summit Church discipleship resource called "Spiritual Growth For A Quarantine Season".  In it, you’ll find various tools on how to leverage this season in regards to your home, spiritual disciplines, your community, and more.

Next-Gen Resources

We want to provide you valuable resources to use with your families at home during this unique season. Access these next-gen resources here.

On Campus Events

All on-campus events are being postponed or moved to online platforms (check with your leader) until the lifting of Governor Roy Cooper’s Executive Order. If you have any questions or ways we can serve you in the meantime, please call our office at (828) 254-0040 or email us at info@nlcca.org.

Preschool Ministry

Our vision in New Life Preschool Ministry is to help preschoolers find and follow Jesus.

Kids Ministry

New Life Kids Church helps elementary school children find and follow Jesus. Our curriculum combines the critical influences of the church and the home to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus.

Youth Ministry

Our mission is to provide an environment of community for teenagers that will help foster their spiritual growth. This is accomplished in two ways. Primarily in our weekly youth meetings we provide a safe, engaging environment where students are given the building blocks for a strong authentic faith. And secondarily we host frequent events outside of church.

college & young adults

New Life Young Adults is for anyone 18 to mid-20s who wants to meet new people and walk together to find and follow Jesus. We meet in community groups, smaller discipleship groups, and for social or service events.

Worship & Creative Arts

At our Asheville church, we believe the arts are a wonderful tool by which we may express worship to our God.  The goal of our teams are to utilize the arts to provide worshipful environments where God is glorified and honored.

Community Groups & Discipleship

We are committed to see that all of our members have the opportunity to be personally discipled with a good foundation of the principles of our faith and that they are afforded training so that they may come alongside and disciple others, hence being “multiplying disciples of Christ.”

Women's Ministry

New Life Church has a vibrant women's ministry to offer our church and community. We love God, one another, and are excited to share various opportunities available to women. Our women's ministry helps enable you to grow in your relationship with the Lord, make connections with other women, and provide opportunities to serve others.
