Youth Ministries

Middle Schoolers

The vision for Middle School is set out in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do."

Join us as we dive into God’s word together with challenging and exciting messages aimed at equipping you to live Godly lives in today’s world, tools to help you grow closer to God through time in the Word and prayer; AND opportunities to reach out to our community and your friends through service projects and fun outreach events.

Senior High Ministry
Student Impact

The mission of New Life is to build multiplying Disciples of Christ by loving God, growing together, and serving others.  Here is how our youth ministry seeks to accomplish this mission:

  • Loving God:  We will express our love to God through our Wednesday night worship, Sunday morning worship, and monthly special worship gatherings.
  • Growing Together:  We will grow together through our Sunday morning discipleship series, Wednesday night teachings, small groups, and our one-on-one discipleship.
  • Serving Others: Serving others is expressed by involvement in other ministries in the church and local, national, and international mission trips.

It is our desire that each student will be able to develop a Christian world view and life style, articulate their faith, navigate their Bible, develop a devotional life, serve others, and worship God.

With our hope to pour as much into our students all that we can prior to their graduation, we will be implementing a new 4 year curriculum during our Wednesday night meetings.

To help us do this we will be using the Seven Check Points developed by North Point Community Church of Alpharetta Georgia which will instill seven key principles every teenager needs to know.

They are:

  • Authentic Faith – putting your trust in God
  • Spiritual Disciplines – seeing with God’s eyes
  • Moral Boundaries – paving the way for intimacy
  • Healthy Friendships – choosing friends for life
  • Wise Choices – walking wisely in a fool’s world
  • Ultimate Authority – finding freedom under God
  •  Others First – considering others before yourself

These seven principles will be woven into much of what we will teach in the years to come.  We know each week students will only retain so much of what we will be teaching them. By teaching these seven principles in various and different forms we will be able to build yearly on these principles allowing greater retention.
