John 4:23 & 24  But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way. For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.

Department of Worship Ministries Objective

TO RECLAIM THE ARTS FOR THE GLORY OF GOD BY ENCOURAGING PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL ART FORMS IN CORPORATE WORAND MINISTRIES IN THE COMMUNITY.

WE WILL DO THIS BY:

Incorporating our church’s mission statement on all levels.

Loving God:
in a corporate setting during our morning worship service.  Much time, prayer and energies are placed on our time together on Sunday morning.  We strive to pursue excellence in our worship preparation each week.

Growing together: 

by teaching worship as a lifestyle, making sure that each person in leadership positions in the ministry has the accountability and training to reach their full, God-called position of a worshiper In Spirit and in Truth.

by providing occasions of retreats, conferences, and personal meetings to encourage worship as a lifestyle.

Serving others:

by presenting ourselves to lead the corporate body to worship God in an excellent way each week

by providing leadership to other churches as they build worship ministries by making available our worship space to other churches for rehearsal, fund raising, special events and being prepared to provide worship music for any of these events by hosting special events of community outreach with concerts , dinner theaters and holiday events

Our future plans are wide open to what God has in store.  We are actively seeking to mentor one another as we pursue excellence in worship.  There are opportunities often for conversations on the topics of defining or re-defining our worship ministry goals. God has not given us the option of being static.  He is working and moving.  Praise be to His worthy Name.

How to become involved in the worship ministry

The worship team and band are gifted, auditioned volunteers who covenant with each other in the disciplines of personal worship and excellence in performance.
